more Outreaches

“crowds during the hunger season, waiting for food distribution”

During the year we do a lot of outreaches into the nation to preach and teach, reaching the prisoners, helping the disabled, reaching the youth at the schools and feeding the hungry. Jesus said in Matthew25v35 and 36 ‘for I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

During the famine  we gave out to thousands, people coming to the door but as well we fed the children from the primary school and we took the village close by through this time of hunger. Thanks to many who supported us!

Till today we help the widows and old people who come weekly to get food or help for going to the hospital.  Sarah has a breakfast club for many of the poorest who come for help. The widows have a garden project and meet once a week to overcome problems together and have a Bible study and prayer! for more of their stories go to Sarah’s blog:

On Fridays we go to Primary and Secondary schools to teach and speak with the youth. We use drama and put them into small groups to talk to them and pray for them, there is a real need to help the young and give them attention. In this nation  alcohol and sexual abuse are enormous,  even the government sees it as one of its biggest challenges.
